Coolant Filtration Systems

AGR Filtri Logo

At Kent Corporation, we partner with A.G.R. Filtri to offer a complete line of coolant filtration systems for your tube mill emulsion. These top-of-the-line systems filter particles from your coolant that can contaminate your tube production or damage your rolls. Adding a coolant filtration system to your line increases the lifespan of your tooling, improves your tube production quality and reduces costly downtime cleaning out your emulsion pits.

Filtration Systems

Hydrostatic filtration systems

The HFS series of automatic coolant filters cleans your emulsion efficiently and effectively. With a flow rate from 100 to 5,500 liters (26 to 1,453 gallons) per minute, the hydrostatic pressure increases filtering fabric efficiency, with a coolant filtration degree between 15 and 50 microns depending on the filter media used.

Benefits

  • Extends the life of tooling
  • Small footprint

Capabilities

  • Flow rate: 100 – 3,000 liters (26 – 792 gallons) per minute
  • Coolant filtration degree: 10 – 50 microns

Features

  • Continuous, automatic operation
  • High hydrostatic head of liquid to get the best use from the fabric and save space
  • Perfect separation of dirty and filtered water
  • Safety system with overflow discharge
  • Exhausted fabric rewinding system and sludge scraping blade
  • Double roll holder with spare, ready-to-use roll
  • HFS-X versions available made entirely of stainless steel

Automatic drum filtration systems

With a flow rate from 100 to 3,000 liters (26 to 792 gallons) per minute, the ARD series of automatic drum filters cleans your tube mill coolant in a confined space. Depending on the type of fabric used, these systems have a filtration degree between 10 to 50 microns.

Benefits

  • Extends the life of tooling
  • Small footprint

Capabilities

  • Flow rate: 100 – 3,000 liters (26 – 792 gallons) per minute
  • Coolant filtration degree: 10 – 50 microns

Features

  • Continuous, automatic operation
  • Fabric on rotating drum to optimize the use of the fabric and save space
  • Version available with a suction pump (ARD-A) to increase the flow rate
  • Version available with a dredged bottom (ARD-D) or dredged tank (TR-ARD) for heavy workloads and large amounts of material to extract
  • Perfect separation of dirty and filtered liquid without using seals and special components or those subject to wear
  • Safety system with overflow discharge
  • Rewinding system available and blade to scrape the sludge from the exhausted fabric
  • ARD-X versions available made entirely of stainless steel

Magnetic Separators

A.G.R Filtri AGM magnetic separators can be used as a standalone coolant filter or in conjunction with hydrostatic or automatic drum filtration systems. Depending on the pollutant or particle filtered, magnetic separators have a filtration degree between 100 and 200 microns.

Benefits

  • Extends the life of tooling
  • Stand-alone coolant filter

Capabilities

  • Coolant filtration degree: 100 – 200 microns

Features

  • Continuous, automatic operation
  • Can be used as pre-filtration for other fabric filters or self-cleaning systems
  • Bottom, magnet cover and scraper comb in stainless steel
  • No consumables used
  • AGM-X versions available made entirely of stainless steel
